Donāt you just love when a stitch creates its own beautiful edge? š¤
This scalloped border formed naturally as I worked ā no special pattern, just soft white yarn and quiet moments at home.
My first baptism blanket for our Prayer Shawl Ministry, and I always find so much peace in these stitches. Being part of it is such a blessing. Whether I made the blanket or not, seeing it gifted and knowing a child is being wrapped in faith, love, and community⦠thatās the sweetest gift of all.
Each blanket is made with quiet prayer and intention, asking God to bless the little one who will one day be wrapped in it.
I truly treasure these slower momentsāsitting on the porch or watching a movie while keeping my hands busy. It becomes such a peaceful rhythm of prayer, work, and rest.
A baptism marks the beginning of a life in Christ, and itās an honor to play even a small role in welcoming a new soul into the faith. May this blanket be a reminder of Godās love, surrounding them always. āØ
