The girl behind the pink mixer and this little biz. What started as a pandemic project quickly snowballed into the sweetest side gig around. While I am not Wilhelmina, I am her great great grand daughter and have the same knack for candy making and baking that she did. I like to think that was passed down to me from her. Wilhelmina owned and managed her own candy store on Frankford Avenue in Phila
delphia during the 1800s. She raised four children alone while running the shop. The business prevailed and flourished through all sorts of obstacles including the Spanish flu, polio, The Great Depression, Korean War, WWI and WWII. Fast forward hundreds of years later, and here I am, keeping her name alive and helping people make the sweetest memories. I have an inherent need to be creative at all times and to me, aesthetics are everything. I love making things look beautiful whether it’s in the form of a cake, a flower arrangement or a room in my home, it instantly lifts my mood. I’m always on the go and need to keep my hands busy or else I go crazy, so this job works out well! I am thrilled to be able to share this sweet journey with you and honored to play a small part in some of the most special moments and memories in my customer's lives!
