If you have a fire, rescue, law enforcement, military or other service patch you would like to contribute, we would be honored to display it. You’re welcome to drop it off while visiting the brewery, or message us for information about shipping one.

Labor Day weekend is officially underway in Bryson City, and Saturday is looking like a good one at Mountain Layers!

Somebody’s Child takes over the Sky Deck today from 6–9 PM, bringing the live music while we keep the craft b**r flowing from noon–9.

It may be a warm September Saturday, but that just makes a cold pint on the Sky Deck taste a little better. Grab your crew, find a shady spot, and settle in for an afternoon that rolls right into a evening of live music.

Rice Wagon will be serving up the good stuff until 8 PM, we’ll have plenty of cold craft brews ready, and Somebody’s Child hits the Sky Deck at 6.

That’s Smoke Over Lublin.

ALTeration brought home Gold, Berry My Troubles in Cheesecake brought home Silver, and Oatmeal Stout brought home Bronze from the 2026 NC Brewers Cup Commercial Competition!

We’re mighty proud of our brewer— but rather than make a big fuss about it, we think we’ll just pour you one.
