I just wanted to say happy anniversary to my husband everything around us has been really rough since last Thursday we had planned a special night out tomorrow night for our anniversary at a place we had never been here before for dinner and good conscience could not do it with the devastation that has happened around us so instead of going and spending that money out at a fancy restaurant we are donating over to Darnell farms tomorrow morning cash Plus food and clothing and anything else we can do anyone who knows me knows I don't cry I have cried so much in the last 7 days over the devastation that has happened there are still families with children that have no food have no water have no home have no vehicle as far as we're concerned we're blessed we have electricity we have a roof over our head we have food we have somewhat cell service now but for the families in Asheville Weaverville candler Canton Crusoe Waynesville Newport Tennessee in the list goes on and on that have absolutely lost everything I feel blessed that we are still here we have one set of her children and grandchildren that live here they're safe we're safe please people donate do what you can Darnell farms here in town is taking food and supplies every day to these areas that have lost everything you can drop off donations Darnell farms has a GoFundMe page even if you only donate $5 every little bit helps so like I said that is where we are putting our donations the cash that was going to get spent to go out to a nice anniversary dinner is going to the displaced families if you get online and you look at chimney Rock completely demolished there are families that are got backpacks on while the river is rising trying to get out of there before they get swept away the devastation is horrible so please donate if you can do anything you can to help.
