Good luck to all the youth hunters this weekend!
For many of us, our earliest memories in the woods came from tagging along on youth hunts with those early mornings, quiet walks, and first lessons learned outdoors. This weekend’s statewide youth deer season is a great chance to pass those experiences on.
On September 26 and 27, youth under 16 can use any legal weapon to hunt antlered or antlerless deer. Each youth hunter must have their own individual Big Game Harvest Report Card, available for free by calling the Licensing Section at 833-950-0575 or by visiting any Wildlife Service Agent.
Reminder, all hunters must wear blaze orange this weekend, even when using archery equipment.
