The wait is over!!! Fresh, organically grown lettuce mix, head lettuce, and bok choy are now available at the self-serve farm stand located at the corner of Main Street and Reed Road in Buchanan. Free-range eggs are also available.

Ordinarily, we cut one crop of lettuce for sale before transplanting the next set of lettuce starts into the garden. Yet, the cool nights are resulting in slower lettuce growth, demanding patience. Hopefully very soon we will once again have lettuce in abundance for you to enjoy.

Our newest employees, "The Chicks", are rapidly growing as they diligently consume the cover crop and prepare the soil for summer crop planting.

Today is our daughter's wedding. Unfortunately, my PTO was denied as I am the farmer. Consequently, my day begins like any other, with cow milking LOL 😆

We have successfully transported all the heifers to their summer pasture today. We are thankful to Preston's for providing us with their pasture for rent.

Meet Kaleb, the curly kale. Of the 100 trays we planted, he was the only one to sprout. Don’t worry. We planted more just a week later. Some days, not everything works out on the farm, but we keep trying.
