Our Homeschool Half Days 2022 session starts February 2nd! This is a great program for kids who love the outdoors and animals. Every week, students will work right alongside Red Gate Farm staff to do the hands-on work of taking care of animals, maple sugaring, starting seedlings, and much more. Farmer Jake talked with CISA’s Phil Korman and WRSI - 93.9 The River’s Monte Belmonte about the farm and his experience being a story teller at this years Field Notes event. Check it out!

"When children come to Red Gate Farm, they are doing real, hands-on farm work with us, whether that's taking care of the animals, working in the garden ... our hope is that through this type of work we're really empowering youth to be kind to one another, respectful, and most importantly to have fun with each other," says Jake Krain, Assistant Director at Red Gate Farm.
