After an eagle-eyed knitter spotted some errors in my Garden Lattice shawl pattern over the weekend, I had some work to do today! The corrected pattern has been uploaded, and errata has been published to the website. If you have already purchased this pattern, please check the errata page!

I also realized that this pattern hadn't been published on LoveCrafts Knitting with the rest of my patterns! So that has been remedied and should be available soon. (They have a review process that all patterns must go through.) The Crossback Beanie needs to be added there as well!

Phew! So now I have a bit of a breather before the next string of events in September. What's next? Well, let me tell you. 😁

On September 4, 5-7 pm, I will be demoing English Paper Piecing at the Puyallup Fair (upstairs in the Pavilion, where they do the quilt/craft display judging), so I'll be working on either Moravian star ornaments or a new quilt project.

September 11-13, I'll be at Autumn War/Emprise of the Black Lion, an event with the Society for Creative Anachronism. Looking forward to seeing you SCAdians there!

September 21 is shearing day! If you are interested in coming to see, please do let me know, and I can keep you informed of a closer window of when the shearer will be arriving, as we are part of a circuit.

September 24 will be the final Enumclaw Plateau Farmers’ Market for 2026.
September 25 will be another demo at the Puyallup Fair, this time hand-quilting.
September 26 will be the Tacoma Fiber Fling at the Job Carr Cabin Museum.

Fall Shearing Day is set and added to the event calendar on my website! If you are interested in coming to watch and/or help, please let me know! We are part of a circuit of farms that the shearer visits that day, so I can keep you informed of when the shearer is expected to arrive.

Come out and visit Rockridge Country Market tomorrow and support a bunch of local businesses! I'll have a lovely new shawl and some new handspun yarn. It ought to be a beautiful day to be out and about!

The custom fabric is approaching the end. It is just short of 3 of the 4 needed yards now, so I'm not going to fill all of the pirns at this point.
