🚨Red Bull Alert🚨

Lot 69 may be the only red in the sale this year, but lack of contemporaries in his breed is not lack of quality. This bull is deep sided and has as much width at the ground as any red there is. Paint this bull black and he would not only fit in but excel with the other Angus Bulls. He is moderate in frame size but packed full of product. He is heifer safe.

Bulls head to Green City Thursday! Plan to join us Friday night for a fish fry, and of course Saturday for sale day.

It’s officially sale week! Now seemed like a great time to share lots 66-67, two Bridger sons that come from our Erica cow family.

66 is a slam dunk caving ease bull who is moderate in frame size and perfect for heifers. His dam, Erica 2037 is a U-2 Coalition daughter out of our Erica 1607 Donor who is a Big Sky. The maternal pedigree this bull has is unmatched. Top 1% Claw, 15% Angle, 4% Functional Longevity, and 5% $M.

Lot 67 is a son of Erica 9514 who is still producing at the highest level at 12 years old. This bull comes in a long, more extended package, and should sire feeder cattle who are long bodied and in the condition valued by buyers. I would also suggest keeping his daughters as his mother has been bred AI every time for her entire life. This bull is in the top 15% SC, 10% Heifer Preg, 4% Functional Longevity, 1% Claw, and 15% Angle.

Lot 71 and 77 1/4 SM 3/4 AN

This pair of Millars Duke sons are some of our favorites in the offering. These bulls are 3/4 brothers and are both out of young productive Simmental influenced dams that originate from our 1502 Platinum cow. Phenotypically these are the cowboy kind. They are long bodied, packed full of muscle, and still have plenty of body. These bulls are the definition of functionality. As they are 3/4 Angus 1/4 Simmental you get the angus look with the extra hybrid vigor and power form the Simmental breed. They are both moderate in their birthweight yet excel in both performance and maternal traits.

Switzer Lots 73-75 Sired by American Eagle

This group of American Eagle sons are all grandsons of our 219WY TC Touchdown cow who is till in the herd and producing at age 14. The longevity behind these bulls is real. The American Eagle progeny have the most genuine muscle and performance as any in our operation. These bulls will sire calves that hit the ground running and be the heaviest calves come weaning time. These bulls are all 3/8 Simmental and 5/8 Angus. If you want feeder cattle that excel these bulls are for you, but don’t be afraid to retain their daughters either.

Lots 62-65 Deeproots x 78B

This group of flush brothers come from our great 78B cow who has proven herself over the years giving us the confidence in her to flush her. Our main goal with this flush was heifers but we did get some absolute studs of bulls as well. These bulls are so balanced in their feature. They are thick made and have so much balance and eye appeal from the side. Deeproots progeny are proving themselves both as cows in production and in the feeder pen. All of these bulls are CAB qualified. Make sure to retain these bulls daughters, you will not be disappointed.

Lot 78 SWTZ CAP 2408

Today, 3/16 seemed like a great time to highlight the lone Capitalist 316 Bull in the sale. This bull is the perfect example of why 13 years after 316 was born we are still using 316 and 316 progeny. This bull offers so much true width and thickness. This bull is as deep as any, and offers so much value in creating both feeder cattle and replacement females. He is 7/8 Angus 1/8 Gelbvieh and is backed by generations of cows that have lasted the test of time on our operation. This bull also excels on paper with low birth and high performance, and boast a top 4% API and top 2% TI. This bull is what we strive to produce, cattle catch your attention for their phenotype, but provide an attractive EPD profile.
