We have the best customers EVER! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for helping us in our support of the Southwest Kansas prairie fire relief efforts! We decided to donate a portion of our sales last Saturday and some customers generously donated on top of buying pickles! We are donating $500 to the Texas Panhandle Livestock and Agricultural Disaster Relief Fund. This group is tirelessly hauling hay to cattle in Southwest Kansas. As you know, trucks need fuel and fuel is expensive! This donation will help support them as they generously and quietly help so many ranchers who have lost so much! As many of you know, we are from Southwest Kansas. You've probably heard about the fires that have ravaged our corner of Kansas recently. We were not affected by the fires personally but many of our friends and neighbors were! It is heartbreaking to see the devastation and know the road ahead is going to be difficult as our friends rebuild fences and structures and replace livestock and find ways to feed the livestock they still have.

THIS SATURDAY WE ARE GOING TO DONATE 10% OF OUR SALES TO THE FIRE RELIEF EFFORTS IN OUR AREA. If you've wanted to help, but didn't know how, we can connect you with resources or you can stop by and support The Pickle Cottage and we will donate a portion of our sales for you! We will be at Old Town Farm & Art Market from 8 to 1 Saturday. Come help us bless some folks who need it right now!
