There’s always someone worse off. My tedder gobbled up some old high tensile wire along the edge of a field. The guy in this video has a bit more of a problem.

Things that you don’t expect: went to the high desert and met a fellow halibut fisherman and a Gaelic speaker from Arkansas. My brain hasn’t quite processed it.

Pretty country but pray they can get their wildfires put out.

Where would a shepherd be without their dog?

Ask a shepherd what the most essential thing is on a farm and a good sheepdog will normally be the top answer. Despite technology moving on, nothing has replaced a sheepdog in hundreds of years for gathering in of sheep, catching, pushing up, sending and being an excellent work colleague and companion.
