Just lost another 2 birds to a hawk. Now they are starting to take food out of my kids mouths. When is it going to be enough? When do we get to start to fight back and get reimbursement for our losses? For the time and money already wrapped up in these 2 birds were well over $100.00 each. One was a meat chicken ready to go in the freezer and the other would have provided another 4 years of fresh eggs for our family and other families in our community. Sorry guess I'm just on a rant and just sick of the "well if you don't want to lose any of your birds then pen them UP!". Well I like my free range and cage free eggs better then store but I guess I'll take the hit and deal with it just like others. But if the state of maine wildlife would love to reimburse me for my loss great thanks. I should start charging them for tick control lol

Woodman's Poultry Farm is a locally owned business located in Bucksport, Maine. We have chickens and turkeys. We sell both chicken and turkey eggs for eating and for hatching.
