😭BUCYRUS… WE ARE HEARTBROKEN TO HAVE TO POST THIS.

TODAY’S LJ’S ROLLIN’ SMOKE STOP AT ACE HARDWARE IS CANCELED. 💔

After everything that happened last Friday, we cannot believe we are having to make another post like this.

We were packed up.
We were ready.
The food was prepared.
We were so excited to come back to Ace Hardware today and make up for last Friday after the fire in our smoker caused us to lose all of our meat and cancel.

We asked Bucyrus to show up for us today.

And then… we had more vehicle trouble. 😔

Unfortunately, the truck is now having fuel pump issues, and because of that, we will not be able to make it to Ace Hardware today.

Honestly, we don’t even know what to say at this point.

We know there have been recent issues with us not being where we were scheduled to be, and we completely understand how frustrating and disappointing that is. Please know that this is frustrating and heartbreaking for us too.

We PROMISED ourselves after last Friday that we were going to come back stronger today.

We prepared.

We promoted.

We were ready to see all of you.

And once again, something completely out of our control has stopped us.

I know some people may say, “What else can possibly go wrong?”

Honestly… right now, we’re asking ourselves the same thing. ❤️‍🩹

But we also know this:

WE ARE NOT GIVING UP. ❤️🔥

Whether you call it bad luck, a rough season, or as we feel right now… the devil trying to come at us from every direction… we refuse to let these setbacks defeat us.

Because if there is one thing this last week has reminded us, it’s how much love and support we have from this community. ❤️

To everyone who was planning to come today…

WE ARE SO SORRY.

To everyone who shared our post…

THANK YOU.

To everyone who planned their lunch or dinner around coming to see us…

WE ARE SO SORRY.

And to Bucyrus…

Please don’t give up on us. 🙏❤️

We are going to get through these issues. We are going to get everything fixed. And LJ’S ROLLIN’ SMOKE WILL BE BACK. 🔥

Right now, our hearts are heavy because we know how excited everyone was after last Friday. We were excited too.

But this isn’t the end of our story.

IT’S JUST ANOTHER SETBACK.

And we will get back up. ❤️

Please say a prayer for LJ and the crew as they deal with one more unexpected problem. And please keep showing them the love and encouragement that you have shown all week.

We may be down right now…

BUT WE ARE NOT OUT. 🔥❤️

BUCYRUS, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. AND MOST OF ALL, THANK YOU FOR NOT GIVING UP ON US.

We will keep everyone updated as soon as we know when and where we’ll be back.

❤️‍🩹 WE’LL SEE YOU SOON, BUCYRUS. WE PROMISE. 🔥

❤️👉‼️BUCYRUS… WE NEED YOU TODAY‼️👈❤️

⏰ ONLY ABOUT ONE HOUR UNTIL WE OPEN AT ACE HARDWARE! ⏰

Today is more than just another food truck stop.

After everything that happened last Friday… the grease fire in our smoker, losing all of our meat, missing what was supposed to be our final scheduled day at Ace Hardware, and the heartbreak that came with it… ❤️‍🩹

TODAY IS OUR COMEBACK. 🔥

And honestly, Bucyrus…

❤️ WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY TO SHOW UP FOR US TODAY. ❤️

Last Friday was supposed to be a big day for LJ’s Rollin’ Smoke. We prepared the food. We promoted all week. We created new specials. We were ready to serve you all one last amazing Friday at Ace Hardware.

❤️‍🔥 OUR FIRST UPDATE SINCE THE FIRE… AND BUCYRUS, WE’RE COMING BACK TO ACE HARDWARE! ❤️‍🔥

Last Friday definitely wasn’t the day we had planned. What was supposed to be our FINAL LJ’S ROLLIN’ SMOKE stop at Ace Hardware turned into a stressful and heartbreaking day when a fire started in our smoker while we were transporting the trailer and meat.

Thankfully, our trailer was NOT damaged, everyone was safe, and after the fire department cleared everything, we spent several hours getting the smoker cleaned up and ready to go again.

And thanks to a lot of hard work, we were blessed to be able to make it to Jeep Day at Pickwick on Saturday morning. 🙏❤️ That meant so much to us after the craziness of Friday.

But now…

🔥 WE’RE COMING BACK TO ACE HARDWARE THIS FRIDAY! 🔥

And honestly, Bucyrus, we’re trying to make up for what we lost last Friday. We had a lot of food prepared, we were ready for a huge day, and we never got the chance to serve it.

So LET’S MAKE THIS FRIDAY HAPPEN! 🔥🔥🔥

We’re bringing back the SAME MENU we had planned:

🍖 RIBS
🥔 FULLY LOADED BAKED POTATO
🧀 FULLY LOADED MAC & CHEESE
🌮 BRISKET TACOS
🌮 PULLED PORK TACOS
🌯 FULLY LOADED BURRITOS

📍 ACE HARDWARE — BUCYRUS
🗓️ THIS FRIDAY
🕒 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

⏰ ONLY FOUR HOURS — and once we’re sold out, we’re sold out!

❤️ The amount of love and support we received after last Friday’s post was incredible. So many of you told us you were coming, told us what you were excited to get, checked on us, and encouraged us.

We heard you. ❤️

Now we’re asking you to show up for us this Friday.

🔥 LET’S MAKE UP FOR LAST FRIDAY.
🔥 LET’S PACK ACE HARDWARE.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE — LJ’S ROLLIN’ SMOKE 🚨

Unfortunately, we have some very disappointing news to share. ❤️‍🩹

We know that with all of the smoke, it may have looked like the entire trailer was on fire, but thankfully, it was not. The fire was only in the smoker, caused by grease while we were transporting the trailer and meat to Ace Hardware. The smoker is separate from where we serve food, which is also why there was so much smoke.

Unfortunately, despite everyone’s efforts, we lost all of our meat in the incident. 😔

Because of this unexpected situation, LJ’s Rollin’ Smoke will NOT be able to open at Ace Hardware today.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thank you to the Bucyrus Police Department, Bucyrus Fire Department and EMS for coming out and helping us today. ❤️ Your quick response, professionalism and great service were truly appreciated during such an unexpected situation. Thank you for being there when we needed you! 🙏❤️

We are absolutely heartbroken, especially because today was supposed to be our FINAL LJ’S ROLLIN’ SMOKE stop at Ace Hardware in Bucyrus. We were really looking forward to seeing everyone and ending it on a high note. ❤️

We sincerely apologize to everyone who was planning on coming out today. This was completely unexpected and out of our control.

Thank you for all the support, understanding and love you’ve shown LJ’s Rollin’ Smoke. We truly appreciate every single one of you. ❤️🙏

Please stay tuned for updates.

🚨 BUCYRUS — LJ’S ROLLIN’ SMOKE UPDATE 🚨

We wanted to give everyone a quick update because things took an unexpected turn on the way to Ace Hardware today.

Unfortunately, the smoker caught fire from grease while they were transporting it, and they are currently pulled over dealing with the situation. They did lose some of the meat, but thankfully they were able to save some of it. ❤️‍🩹

At this time, we are NOT sure if LJ’s Rollin’ Smoke will be able to open at Ace Hardware today. We’re waiting to see what happens and will keep everyone updated as soon as we know more.

Please keep LJ and the crew in your thoughts—they’re doing everything they can to make today happen. ❤️

Thank you for your patience and understanding! 🙏
