SEBO Farms, LLC We have a cow/calf operation with Registered Belted Galloways, or "Belties", offering breeding stock and quality all natural grass fed/grass finished beef.

For more info, visit our website: www.sebofarms.com. We’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about our registered Belted Galloway beef we have available here at SEBO Farms, LLC. We make sure our beef is raised in a natural, low stress environment as well as being 100% grass fed and grass finished, and free of growth hormones, steroids, and antibiotics. Among these fine benefits our Beltie beef, as compared to commercial beef, is also lower in saturated fat and total fat average, lower in cholesterol, better Omega 6 to Omega 3 acid ratio, and higher in protein, calcium, and iron. The end result is a naturally lean beef that is not only healthy, but delicious. To see additional, and more in depth statistics and health benefits of Beltie beef, please visit the Belted Galloway Society at http://beltie.org/statistics-on-beltie-beef.php
Our beef is dry aged for a minimum of 14 days, USDA inspected, processed and packaged, then moved to the blast freezer at -30 degrees F. This allows the beef to be frozen quickly so that the water does not crystalize, preventing freezer burn. We are so excited for this opportunity to supply you with delicious and healthy grass fed Beltie beef! We are taking orders for quarters and sides of beef. Please let us know if you are interested or would like some more information/pricing. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

FAQ Friday is going to look a little different this week and instead be “Friday’s Fair Recap”!

We wrapped up another successful week at Johnson County Fair and after taking a few days to unpack, catch up, and get back to “normal” life, we’re still relishing in all the memories!

A big highlight for SEBO Farms—we had our very own Belted Galloway class at the Beef Show!

🥇 Natasha — 1st
🥈 Butons — 2nd
🥉 Nellie — 3rd
🏅 Heidi — 4th

Elsa and Reagan also spent months working on 4-H projects ranging from art and photography to baking, food preservation, and cake decorating. So much work goes into fair week long before the fair actually begins!

But the best part? A full week spent with our 4-H friends. Late nights, early mornings, lots of laughs, and plenty of memories in between.

Next up for the Belties…the American Royal in October!

We’re back with FAQ Friday…We get asked a lot—“do grass-fed cattle really eat grass all year?”

At SEBO Farms they sure do! The menu just changes a little with the seasons. From fresh pasture and rotational grazing when the grass is growing to quality hay through the winter.

A few pics from fair 4H conference judging! 🍀

Our kiddos don’t just drop off their projects and wait for the ribbon, but instead they sit down with a content expert, explain their process and answer questions. In return, they get valuable feedback and ideas for improvement. I love this piece because it builds confidence, communication skills, and a willingness to keep learning.

Livestock Check in Day Johnson County Fair

It’s (less) HOT, but a whole lotta humid. Milton has always known how to keep himself cool! Here are a few of our favorite pictures from fair weeks over the years—somehow, this kid always manages to find the best fan.

It’s Johnson County Fair Week! The Sewell kids worked hard in the heat today with their 4-H club getting livestock stalls ready for cattle, sheep and goats. And even lent a hand in the poultry barn!

The cows move in Tuesday and we’re definitely looking forward to cooler temps as Fair Week gets underway!

Check out the schedule in the comments below or keep up to date here for all the fair week happenings!
