The next two weeks we have lots of fun things going on here at Pickwick! Including our first ever Summer Farm-to-Table Dinner on Saturday, July 19th.

Join us for an evening inside The Loft at Pickwick filled with delicious food (highlighting local products), an evening wagon ride through our property (with Farmer Ethan) and finishing the night in the flower field where you can pick your own bouquet to take home with you (not included in the ticket price).

We have partnered with Chef Will from to create a memory filled evening.

Some in season produce around the farm. We are absolutely loving the edible flowers that compliment all of our leafy greens. It's nice to see some color when we are used to fields of green. 💚

We are just shy of being 1 week away from Sample Day here in The Market. Something extra special about next weekend is that it is also Pickwick’s 10th birthday, there will be some extra fun activities happening on site all weekend long.

🌿 Summer Youth Spotlight: Edible Landscapes – Bucyrus, OH 🌿

Meet Hayden and Robert, two amazing participants in our Summer Youth Work Experience program, working hard this season at Edible Landscapes in Bucyrus! With guidance from their Job Coach, Jack, the boys have been busy planting, weeding, prepping garden beds, and even helping clean inside the barn.

Sam, the owner of Edible Landscapes, shared:
“They’ve been a big help! They work hard, and I’m grateful to have them here this summer.”

Through hands-on experience, these students are gaining valuable skills, building confidence, and making a difference in their community. 👏🌱

Farm update!! The lettuces are thriving as I've been keeping them cool in the heat. Tending our leafy greens is truly a labor of love. 🥵 Our local Bucyrus, Ohio grown hot house tomatoes are looking prolific for the season and will be on shelves soon. I've zoned in on the perfect salad tomato along with varieties of heirlooms.We also have a great crop of collards,blackberries, peppers, and elderberries, candy onions, and garlic coming on. Hope you are excited as we are!
