Here is a tribute honoring the memory of Bill Braesicke who died earlier this week. He was such a wonderful friend of many and will be missed by all. Here is a tribute that I did for his bityhday 24 years ago. A lot of kids who are now adults with wonderful memories of years of growing up with Bill as a mentor and "guardian". Here's another of the tiniest of the year! His full brother is matured at 25.5"!!! He measured today 23.25". A little pot bellied like some of the weanlings seem to do at one time or another, but I think he is very special and will only get better as he matures. Blue eyes as a special bonus, too. Both his parents are under 28" too, so he is bred to be tiny. Little America's Andy's Easter.

Throwback Thursday- my first time to be in print. Not bad to start in Life Magazine in 1949. A Shetland Pony sale, I think in Perry, OK, but could have possibly been Gainesville, TX. I was in the audience with my parents, part of an annual vacation in July heat.

Farm. My dad, Wayne, is far left in the line of dads and little kids. He is "heading" for me on his left. I guess he didn't think his 2 or 3 was a risk at that age alone. LOL.
