Rainy days call for French Onion Soup. 🧅

A little something special from our San Diego kitchen. Onions caramelized low and slow, deglazed with our Chardonnay and balsamic vinegar, then simmered in rich beef bone broth with thyme, bay leaf, Worcestershire, and our house made pita aminos. Topped with toasted bread, melted Toma cheese, and fresh chives.

French and just about perfect for a rainy afternoon.

$13 for the soup, or $24 paired with a glass of Pali Vineyard Chardonnay.

So… new w**e cocktails. Frozen drinks. Sangria. Cold things in general.

We put together a brand-new cocktail menu for Hillcrest with Erin Rea . Bright, refreshing, w**e-forward drinks made for exactly this kind of San Diego weather.

Plus cold rosé, orange w**e, sparkling, chilled reds, Sauvignon Blanc, soft serve… you get the idea.

Come hang out at the bar, inside, outside, afternoon, evening.

Harvest 2026 is moving fast. Across Santa Barbara County, this is shaping up to be one of the earliest harvests anyone can remember, and the Sta. Rita Hills are no exception. Yields are very light this year, but the fruit coming into the w**ery has been clean, healthy, and full of promise.⁠
⁠
We’ve already brought in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Dornfelder and more from Pali Vineyard, with Gamay, Syrah and plenty of other exciting lots still to come. There may not be much of the 2026 vintage, but so far, there’s a lot to be excited about.

We had a blast pouring tastings and glasses, sharing our new kitchen menu, and deviting our Frozé (available in rouge or blanc 😊)

And there’s more coming later this week, including soft serve 🍦
