Presented the money from Fire and Ice Feast to the volunteer fireman tonight. These men and women who leave their families and rush to save those in need, run towards the danger and do it for free deserve so much more. Im proud to be part of an organization that recognizes their sacrifice and works to help meet their needs. The Fire and Ice board of directors put in countless hours to put it all together. The cook teams spend their own money and time to make this happen and feed the public that shows up to support the firefighters. Companies donate via sponsorships, and many unnamed local companies donate to the auction.

Been up all night smoking brisket, just put the ribs on. Sipping coffee and watching deer in the back . All night friends and people from other teams came by just to hang out and say hi. Yes,it's a lot of work. But damn it's a lot of fun and we are supporting a great cause. Come out today say hi, enjoy the car show,corn hole tournament,and enjoy a relaxing day in this beautiful weather. Don't forget we have activities for the littles.
