Happy National Hamburger Day!
Here is my take on a butter burger 🍔
For the burger I like to use a mix of 85/15 beef and ground bison. I use half to half ratio. Cook burgers to your desired wellness, top with your favorite cheese. I used Colby jack.
For the toppings, I sautéed some sh*taki mushrooms and one large onion, in separate pans.
Then I made the butter sauce. 3/4 stick of salted butter, one scallion chopped, a tbsp of chopped mint, a tbsp of chopped parsley, half a tsp of Dijon mustard, a dash of lemon juice and some garlic powder. Let it cook for 3 - 4 minutes.
To assemble, I used Brioche rolls, on the bottom put the mushrooms, then your burger, top with the sautéed onions. Spoon some of the butter sauce over the burger, and then, best part... dip the top half of the bun into the butter and top your burger 😋.
That hint of mint really makes all the difference, let me know what you think 😁
