SPICE DRIVE! 🧂

Join the City of Buffalo in supporting the Buffalo Food Shelf through our annual Spice Drive this holiday season! 🍂

Last year, we were thrilled to provide the food shelf with an overflowing bin of spices donated by City employees and members of the community. Spices may not always be the first thing that comes to mind when donating, but they can make a big difference when it comes to holiday cooking and baking!

We are excited to bring the Spice Drive back this year and invite the community to help us fill the bins once again.

➡Details:
-Any cooking or baking spices are accepted
-Spices MUST be unused and unopened
-Spices cannot be expired
-Drive runs from October 12-November 1
-Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours in the labeled collection bins

📍Drop off Locations:
-City Center Office: 212 Central Ave
-Buffalo Area Community Center: 114 Commerce Circle

Thank you for helping support the Buffalo Food Shelf and our community this holiday season!

Does your favorite grocery store offer good Buy One, Get One Free sales? It's a great way to support the food shelf! When you are grocery shopping for your family and see a good BOGO offer, buy one for you and donate the other one to the food shelf. The things that you regularly buy for your family are the things that we need at the food shelf.

The best time to drop off donations is Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 7:30 or Friday mornings. Contact us if other arrangements need to be made.

We will not be having a drive thru distribution this Friday, September 25th. Food boxes will be available at Zion Lutheran Church during their clothing distribution on Saturday, September 26th.

Mark your calendar for next weekend's Blessing Closet Distribution Day! Free clothing available for all ages. Please bring your own bag.
