The high-selling bull was lot 8, purchased by Oshoto Flying M Operations of Gillette, WY, for $22,000. Other highlights include: Lot 23 - Jarrid Dubas (NE), $20,000; Lot 2 - Tanner Ragsdale (KS), $16,000; Lot 21, Lyman Ranches ($15,500); Lot 6 - Jana Haynie (MT), $15,000; Lot 16 - Lawrence Ranches (WY), $15,000; Lot 18 - Lyman Ranches (WY), $15,000.

The Y5 flush went to Deep Creek Angus of Midland, SD.

Cattle went to WY, MT, CO, SD, NE, WA, IA, and CA.

We'll be headed down the road delivering these cattle in the coming weeks, and then we're back at it, busy making 2027 and 2028 bull sale cattle as we head into spring and breeding season.

Congratulations to all of the Johnson County fair exhibitors! We are overwhelmed by the great attitudes, commitment to the hard work, and for showing up with confidence and grit.

An extra special shout-out goes to Paislee Stevens who exhibited (and won the first phase of the supreme heifer contest with) a daughter out of a heifer we donated in the supreme heifer contest three years ago. It’s extra special watching a breeding project come to life in the way Paislee has done!

Congratulations are in order to our customers and friends who had an excellent week with their projects:
-Kade Benton for a clean sweep as champion market steer, reserve champion market steer, champion showman and champion FFA showman in his senior year (we might have forgot some accolade because wow!)
-Ellie Greub for successfully showing and selling her first market steer that was donated last year by Buffalo Livestock Marketing
-Dallas and Strauss Hepp with a great show especially with excellent carcass marks, including a steer by an ELK Angus bull
-Kinslee Painter (and the whole Painter crew) who won the cow-calf portion of the supreme heifer contest (and also had a great rest of fair between her other cattle projects, horse project, and rodeo)

We may have missed someone (please let us know if we did!) as we were busy tailing up kids who look up to each and every one of you 4Hers. 4H had such a huge impact in our lives and we’re excited to have our kids be inspired by all of you who did such a great job this week! You never know who is watching ❤️
