A MESSAGE TO OUR NEW AND LOYAL CUSTOMERS ❤️🇵🇷
We would like to take a moment to clarify something for our new customers.
At La Cocina De T**i Restaurant, we do not offer the popular “yellow rice & pastelillo” combo. While we fully respect our fellow Puerto Rican restaurants and the different concepts they offer, that particular combination is not what represents the culinary concept we have created here.
Being Puerto Rican does not mean that every Puerto Rican restaurant has to serve the exact same food. Puerto Rico’s gastronomy is much broader than yellow rice, pernil, and pastelillos. Our island has a rich culinary history with countless flavors, preparations, ingredients, and regional traditions that deserve to be explored.
That is exactly what we are here to showcase.
La Cocina De T**i Restaurant is a unique concept. It was not created to copy anyone. It was created to show you what else Puerto Rico has to offer beyond the traditional dishes you may already know.
Our Chef carefully created our menu with intention, attention to detail, and a great deal of thought behind every dish. Every component has its purpose and its place.
Even our pernil is different. We do not prepare it the traditional way you may be accustomed to. We have created our own interpretation because our goal is to give you something different while still honoring where we come from.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT OUR SERVICE ❤️
We also want to clarify that all of our combos, with the exception of our pernil, are prepared to order.
Additionally, every single side and complement is prepared fresh when ordered, without exception.
We do not operate under a traditional steam-table concept. We completely respect restaurants that do, because we understand that some customers prefer to order their food quickly and be on their way.
Our approach is simply different.
We believe that good food deserves time, care, dedication, quality, and consistency. Every plate that leaves our kitchen is prepared with those principles in mind and, most importantly, with love for what we do and appreciation for every customer who supports us.
For those looking for something quick and simple, we do offer our “Grab & Go” options, including our variety of frituras.
At the end of the day, we simply ask that you allow us to introduce you to our vision of Puerto Rican cuisine. You may find familiar flavors presented in a different way, as well as dishes and combinations you may not have experienced before.
