Joy is out of a mare we got from Joyce Swope. She’s a little living legacy. Joy has had a week of riding and ready to find her person to finish her out. She is 5 years old and ready to join your pasture today.

She loads, ties, baths, trailers etc.

I will have to measure her. She’s probably around 14 hands.

There is something incredibly meaningful about raising one of your own and watching them grow into everything you hoped they could be.

Mr. Good Bar, a beautiful silver dapple son of Chocolate Bar M., has been that horse for us.

Together, we earned my very first World Grand Championship, a moment I will never forget. While the title is special, what means even more is the horse behind it. Mr. Good Bar is the complete package—exceptional conformation, a kind and willing disposition, and the eye-catching beauty that turns heads wherever he goes.

From watching him grow as a young horse to stepping into the winner’s circle, the journey has been rewarding. There is a special kind of pride that comes from raising a horse, believing in them from the beginning, and seeing that potential become reality.

Championships are won in the show ring, but great horses are built through years of breeding, care, patience, and partnership. Mr. Good Bar will always hold a special place—not just as my first World Grand Champion, but as a reminder of why I love raising and promoting these wonderful Missouri Fox Trotters.

Meet miss, Chocolate at Midnight. I had been scrolling a site and found the dam, who Doug raised, but lost track of her. She was living less than 30 mins away. We bought her and added her to the broodmares. She gave us a super nice Silver Dapple filly. Silver is already limited, silver dapple fillies are hard to get. Almost all are stud colts! Welcome Midnight to the farm!
