If you like things a bit more flashy, then these 2 bucklings from Lulabell Farm P Wendella and Swoon Bandito Del Norte might be your style 2 brown guys with moonspots. Wendella is maturing into a gear doe. Nicely formed udder, great general appearance, and filling the pail nicely. Wendella picked up her restricted leg, but we didn't do any shows last year, maybe this year she can earn another?

Now that the first round of kidding is over, it's time to highlight a few bucklings available. First up is sharp red guy out Lulabell Farm P Garnet and sired by CA Blackberry's Lunar Dragon! This was the one AI that stuck last fall and it produced 2 handsome bucklings. One will be retained as a Jr herdsire the other is available! Garnet finished her championship 2 summers ago and is a large framed doe with lots of dairy character. She is a dependable milker and overall, a great doe. Lunar Dragons dam is GCH Big_HoofHearted RB Luna 2*M owned by the CA Blackberry's herd. She's won nationals, had best udder, was reserve another year... kind of a big deal in the nubian world. I'm excited for this buckling! CA negative herd, buckling will have DNA/registration completed soon.

Finally, as a 4 year old, Athena, had a not 1, but 2 doe kids!
In other kidding Wendels had 2B 1D with Swoon Bandito Del Norte. The 2 handsome spotted bucks are available as some nice breeding prospects.
Oleander had 2 bucks with Bandito as well, more pet wether guys here.

Things have been a bit quiet here this winter or is it spring? We held off on Feb kidding but the fun starts soon in March! Does are vaccinated, hooves trimmed and the herd came back clean for CAE!

Breeding season has begun with Wendella and Zelena! While the goats are long dry, I've waited till October to start the breeding season. Some fun AI's are planned, let's see how it goes!

No MN State Fair for Zelena and the rest of the herd. We took this year off of milking and showing for some other fun things like travel and projects. I will be there to help some others show and work as goat show announcer a bit. I'll be sporting a Sundown Creek Dairy Goats shirt Saturday! Missing the fair but not the stress of getting there. There are plenty of goats here and breeding season will be here soon!
