LEBANESE ORANGE W**E!

✨Domaine des Tourelles Skin 150 ✨
This skin-contact w**e is crafted from 150 year-old Merweh vines, an indigenous grape variety that can be traced back to the Phoenicians. These vines have not been pruned or treated for the last two decades, resulting in extremely low yields with concentrated flavors. Merweh is a resistant variety that has adapted very well to the Mediterranean mountain climate and ecosystem. The grapes macerate for 7 days and undergo spontaneous fermentation in clay jars. Medium/full bodied, rich, with candied lemon and poached pears aromas, layered with ripe tropical fruits along with hints of roasted almonds on the finish.

W**emaker Laila Maghathe is making w**e in the Wadi Qannoubine (Bekaa Valley) region of Lebanon. Originally from the US, with Palestine heritage, she is currently spending time between Lebanon and Australia. She has been producing w**e in Lebanon since 2021 under the label ‘Love Letter’. Beautiful peachy-copper color, with aromas of nectarine, briny ocean breezes and whiffs of roasted nuts. Light-medium body with delicate flavors of nectarine, dried apricot and mango. Hints of bitter almond and white pepper on the finish. Made from 100% Merwah!

Forthave Spirits is a small Brooklyn distillery founded by painter Aaron Sing Fox and writer/producer Daniel de la Nuez. Inspired by historic herbal remedies and apothecary traditions, Forthave makes distinctive botanical spirits using a library of more than 200 herbs, roots, flowers, fruits, and seeds. Their products are natural and delicious! We are currently carrying their Nocino (Black), Gin (Blue), Apertivo (Red), and Amaro (Marseille).
