TL;DR: We're sold out of ribs today.
This story starts off like a joke, and we're sharing it with permission. To protect the innocent, the names have been changed.
John from Kennesaw, an Alabama fan, made a bet with Jack, a Georgia fan: whoever's team lost would throw a party for the winner's family and friends.
Unbeknownst to us here at It's Different BBQ, Jack is one of our weekly regulars. When John lost the bet, he asked Jack where he wanted the food catered from. Jack told him about us, and John showed up at 10:15 a.m., before we even opened, and bought out about 95% of our ribs. The other 5% are held for online preorders.
We're truly sorry to everyone who was hoping for ribs today (Sunday, Oct. 11). As always, the best way to lock in your order is to preorder online. And we're grateful for customers like Jack, who help keep us in business.
