The first wooden corner post is in the ground, 3ft deep and cemented in. It’s the start to building a more permanent fence and also expanding the fence to the pasture .
Today I got 4 more posts also in the ground. Been some hard work, doing it with shovel and a long chisel bar.
Once the cows go back home to their owner, I can really go to work on the fence!

Been a long time since I’ve posted to this page, but we finally got Cows back on our little farm! Barrowed grass grazers. Love having them back. Next spring we will buy our own again, but for now we are very happy to have these!

Been a long time since I’ve posted on this page, HF2 is in winter stage and we got close to a foot of snow so the grandsons went sledding on our hill today. I really enjoy watching them have some good old fashion fun!

More pics of their 1st day outside. When you have 34 chickens, 7 breeds (Ameracuana, Plymouth Barred Rocks, Golden S*x Link, New Hampshire Red, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Leghorn, and Sagitta) tried to post of few pics to capture some of each breed. Lol

They are loving their 1st adventure outside. Love how one chicken comes out of coop, back into the run, like “Excuse me! Coming by” lol
