Low Stress Cattle Handling 👌

Low stress cattle handling has always been a priority when working our cattle. No matter if it's preg checks, worming, or treating illness and injuries.

Keeping cattle calm, safe, and flowing easily & efficiently while also, and most importantly, keeping us safe is critical to our beef cattle operation.

We bought our Arrowquip system back in 2020, and it was a total game changer in our overall safety and how the cattle reacted to being worked.

No more near death experiences. No more cattle jumping out of the equipment. No more calves getting piled up in corners. No more not being able to access udders, feet, necks, rear ends for preg checks.

The stress on both the humans and the cattle decreased tremendously. And the safety on both the humans and the cattle also increased tremendously!

Vets LIKE coimg to our farm because they know they aren't going to get hurt while examining our cattle!

Checking Out A Limp

An older cow has been limping a bit. So we brought her in to see if we could find anything wrong with her hoof, or if she injured herself somewhere from the hock down.

No injuries were found on the hockey, but there was a little hole on the bottom of her hoof where some infection can set in.

We treated her and set her free. We'll keep a close eye on her and see if she progresses or not.

Treating injuries, especially hoof injuries are a lot easier in our chute. The access doors keep us and the cows safe. No kicks to our faces while keeping the cow safe and secure. 👍
