Everyone loves my Grandma Carmen’s tortillas. “Lala” as we call her, would make dozens at a time, and we’d all eat them up just as fast as she could make them. My favorite ways to eat them were filled with fried potatoes and bacon for breakfast, filled with tuna for lunch, as the perfect accompaniment to her frijoles, fideo and fried chicken for dinner, and then for dessert with a scoop of peanut

butter and maple syrup. These are Lala classics and forever treasured in our hearts and on our palates. As the only one in my family who was destined to continue her legacy, I decided to put my talent to good use. I guarantee you will enjoy these as much as we did growing up and that they will be “Just Like Lala’s”.
