Heat grumpyness. We were all feeling it this week on the farm, even the sunflowers. 🌻 😊 We'll have beautiful bouquets tomorrow at the Farmer Market at St. Stephens! And scroll for the neatest spider, it looks painted 🎨

This plum crested celosia is stealing the show this week on the farm. We're happy to see so many monarchs on them and around farm too. Who's ready for Fall and fall colors?! 👋🏻 🌺🌾

Our PSA of the month. Watch out for these guys, stinging saddleback catepillar. I'm kind of in awe of them, nature's design, their coloring, those nasty protective spines. I usually find one, or it finds me every August. they seem to love the dahlias, hydrangeas, azaleas. Feels like bee sting. An inch or smaller! Pro tip, use scotch tape to remove their hairs from your skin. Eeek.

Excuse our silence over here as we took a wonderful summer break. ⛱️ We are back at the Farmers Market at St. Stephens tomorrow Saturday! Come on by and grab some beautiful summer blooms. And it's the start of dahlia season 😊🌺. We have some spaces open for our fall CSA/flower subscription too, 10 weeks of blooms. Link in bio!

Lots of saturated colors and new (to us) summer blooms heading to the Farmers Market at St Stephens tomorrow. The blues and feverfew😍. My new fave is russian statice or pink rattail statice such fun movement in bouquets and the botanical name is fun to say...Suworowii.

Daisy and I love all the new flowers on the farm this week, with zinnias, nigella, feverfew, amaranth and strawflower coming in strong.❤️❤️ All these and more heading to the Farmers Market at St. Stephens tomorrow. Come grab some summer flower goodness, 8-12. Just 2 more Saturdays before our summer break from the market!!
