This demon ate my babies. I’m so mad! I went to get the babies out of the incubator. Anyone that knows me, and I do mean anyone, KNOWS I don’t do snakes. Of course I am home by myself. So I go looking for something to get him out of the incubator. While I’m searching, he spits out a baby and hides his head. 😡 Luckily, my hatching room is in the garage and I had access to a plethora of tools. He is out of the incubator, out of the garage, and taking a dirt nap away from my babies.

Edit: I am surprised but she is improving. She is on her feet, eating, and drinking. Still isolated and the really bad leg is still vet wrapped. Color is coming back into her comb. She was so pale from dehydration and blood loss. Poor baby.

Casting. I never thought a chicken could cast themselves under a wall. Extricating her was quite difficult. She is quite injured from thrashing around before I found her. She has been medicated, vet wrapped, coaxed to drink water with vitamins, and placed in a quiet location in a chicken spa location. She is a very special BCM breeding hen. I am hoping she recovers. 😞 Added note, horses are more difficult in this situation but just as heartbreaking.❤️‍🩹

Ten quail chicks hatched September 4th. There are three English White and seven Jumbo Wilds (pharaohs). Farm pick-up

Covey of Jumbo Wilds that are 16 weeks. Eight hens and a c**k bird.
