Make buttermilk pie from scratch to finish with me.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Pie crust:
1 1/4 c flour, 1 tsp salt , and 1/3 cup lard for the crust. You cut the lard into the flour and then make a well and add 4-5 tbsp of cold water to it till it forms a ball when mixed with a fork.

Pie filling:
1 and 1/2 c sugar 3 eggs, 1c butter melted 3 tablespoons flour, 2tsp vanilla , 1c buttermilk

Supper tonight was Catfish from Jackson’s Meat House and seasoning I had from G&S Fish Market. Also home made French fries and corn on the cob with Down on Cow Bayou Cajun Seasoning, and baked beans.
