Crimson clover is officially in the ground! 🌱

Here’s to hoping year FOUR of growing this stuff is as good as year one was. 😂

Year 1 — absolutely beautiful.
Year 2 — complete fail.
Year 3 — a good crop, but I was a little too cautious to really promote it.

So maybe year 4 is our year again?! 🤞

If all goes according to plan, crimson clover puts on the most gorgeous blooms around mid to late May — and it is SO pretty for photos. ❤️

Now we wait…and hope Mother Nature cooperates!

We had an awesome weekend celebrating this guy’s 6th birthday! 🥳 Back at it today and heading into the last few weeks of our 2026 season.

These little friends are pretty fond of the dill. 🐛😂

I counted at least 10 caterpillars munching away tonight. I think it’s safe to say the dill belongs to them now. 🦋🌿

And just like that, our flower field is officially closed for U-Pick for the 2026 season! 🌸

Thank you for another awesome season!! We are so incredibly thankful for everyone who came out to pick flowers, attended an event, brought the kids, shared our posts, or simply continued to support our little farm.

We aren't quite done for the year though! We still have three more workshops coming up, plus our Bulb Bar in October. 🌷

📸 Photographers—there are still plenty of flowers and beauty around the farm, and photography access will continue through Oct!

A few years ago, when we first started offering U-Picks, Melody came out to the farm.

She was new to the area and had previously worked as a florist in another state. She picked some flowers to take home and create with, and the photos she sent me afterward were absolutely gorgeous. Cyanotypes, pressed flowers, resin work—she has such a talent for taking flowers and giving them a whole new life.

Fast forward a few years and Melody has officially launched Floral Farm Collective! I’m so excited to see her putting her experience and creativity into something of her own.

She’s offering preserved floral and resin work, flowers for small weddings, homecomings and more. And if you have flowers from a wedding, funeral or another special occasion that you’d like preserved, Melody has always been my go-to recommendation.

It’s been really fun getting to know her through our shared love of flowers and now getting to cheer her on in this next adventure. 🤍

I wanted to give our Rooted Women’s Retreat another little share! 🌿

A few hours at the farm to slow down, make a few things, eat some good food and enjoy time together.

Rooted is Saturday, September 26 from 9am–1pm.

Chelsie will be joining us for an herbal roll-on and bath salts, we’ll have a seasonal flower activity, a charcuterie spread and plenty of time to just enjoy the farm.

If a slower morning at the farm sounds like something you could use, we’d love to have you.
