Who has a junior or a beginner child wanting a show a beef steer or heifer. Look no further, our claves are super chill and easy to work with.

We call this red and white steer, Barry. It was time to get his walking session in, practice standing while tied and being brushed. Barry was refusing to get up from laying in front of his fan. Barry, and many other steers and heifers that we have for sale are super tame and can sit right on them, they don’t care!! They are very comfortable to people handling them!!!

The sale calves get so excited for their afternoon meal, of course. But after they get done eating they know they get turned out to pasture!!! They spend their days in the cool barn with fans. But then night time is when they run and play outside!! So fun to watch!!!

Finally after a long wait calving is done. This heifer calf was definitely late to the show but finally she made her appearance. First time mom Alice did a great job and has been taking great care of her first calf. We are going to keep them both close to the home base next week with a heatwave setting in so we can make sure they stay cool. Big time props to Tim for being a great buddy steer and keeping them company while their friends have been up north in summer pasture. They will be joining them soon.
