Agriculture Education hands on for kids Purpose is to educate children on farm animals used for showing, reproduction and food using hands on with cattle and sheep. Also introduction to horses.

By request I have decided to open our small farm up to youth and of course any adult as well is welcome, to come see what it takes to prepare, maintain and keep healthy and happy for shows, and breeding and food consumtion sheep and cattle, with an extra treat on horse introduction. For $25 a child for 1 hour your child can help wash, dry and comb a show calf, learn about sheep, groom and weather permitting take a ride on a horse while learning how to care for them. Certain times of the year we have lambs and bottle baby calves that they can feed and play with. A huge interest has been shown with this and we know our future lies in the hands of children. No farms no food. My 20 yr old daughter current FFA student will be leading the daily tour appointments with myself as extra hands. These will be by reservation only with no more then 4 in a group. Family groups welcomeat a discount, other groups welcome also with similar discounts. We ask if you have a reservation you arrive 10 min prior to your scheduled hour to go over general safety rules and sign a waiver. I think this will not only be fun for young and young at heart but just maybe put a spark of interest in some little ones future careers.🐷🐄🐎🐑
