For years we have been starting weanlings on Purina Precon and then adding in a developer a little later.
Right now we are feeding Purina Precon with Lone Star Bull and Heifer.
🎤🎤Public Service Announcement:: Are there better, more expensive feeds for cattle? YES! Are there some that are worse? YES! Do we have all the Right answers for farming and cattle? NO! lol

Mosquitoes are getting bad here in South Central Louisiana. This is what we use to spray in and around the barns .. as well as bedding areas. 1 oz per gallon

This time of year we also fertilize our pastures with 200lb of Urea per acre .
The rains got this Bermuda going after that load of fertilizer.
To really key in on pasture/soil heath check with your local Ag extension office to pick up a soil testing kit .

Another really young heifer with a nice natural gut and a lot of great qualities, including a gentle temperament! 😍 We are haven’t yet decided if she will be available or not ..
