Come on out to join in on the fun and some beautiful trails!

Howdy equestrians!
If anyone wants to come horse around with us, we are hosting the trail ride this Saturday here at Double C Ranch to benefit Whispering Meadows Ranch. It's a fun ride for a good cause, the weather will be perfect, the trails are looking great, and there's wild flowers everywhere.. we hope to see you! If you can't go, please share with your friends that have a horse and would love a day out on the trail.🤠

Calling all that like to horse around!
This is our 3rd year hosting this fun trail ride benefit @ Double C Ranch and we'd love to invite you out. All proceeds go to a great cause, Whispering Meadows Ranch and their therapeautic riding programs. Help spread the word. Colorado ranchers need our support.

I had no idea how bad this really was.

There is an initiative in Colorado that seeks to essentially end animal agriculture in the state.

A state where every single county raises and where beef is Colorado’s number one export.

In a separate move, the governor of Colorado declared tomorrow ‘Meat Out Day’.

I’ll share all the links and information on where you can go to learn about Initiative 16 (PAUSE Act) and make your own informed decisions, but in this post I want you to see these faces.

These are the faces of people I love. These are the faces of the Lazy JB Angus family in Colorado which was established in 1927. My friend Britney raises Angus cattle alongside her mom, dad, brother and grandparents.

I messaged Britney sort of jokingly saying “what the hell is going on in Colorado” and her response knocked me to my knees because when I look at her family, I see my family.

Her family is my family and I cannot imagine my Pappy’s ranching legacy being over thanks to people who have no understanding of agriculture or the people involved.

These are the faces of good people who are producing the food you buy in the grocery store. Like you, they have moms, dads and grandparents they love.

Together families just like theirs have worked incredibly hard for generations to care for the animals and nurture the land (for nearly a century in Lazy JB’s case).

Now it’s being threatened.

I’m not here to tell you what stance to take on this initiative you can make your own informed decisions. I’m here instead to put faces to the people whose lives will be destroyed if this rhetoric against animal agriculture continues. Today this is happening in Colorado, but tomorrow it could be your state.

Tomorrow please use and to show all our Colorado ranchers we have their backs. This agriculture community is a family and if we want to continue providing good healthy food to the world we need to stand with our Colorado family. Thankful to groups like Colorado Cattlemen's Association who are on top of this an actively working to support ranchers!

This beef is from a grass-fed cow raised at our family Ranch in Bunnell, Double C Ranch.
This beef has NO hormones, antibiotics, and was raised munching on lush free-range grass ONLY.

Once a box number is reserved, it will no longer be available and we will update this post. Any that has a red mark has already been sold.

All beef in these boxes is frozen immediately in vacuum sealed packages and is USDA certified. These hamburger packs average 1.27 pounds.

Private message us today with your box choice to reserve your beef and we will coordinate a time for you to get it.
