⚠️ WARNING: LONG POST ‼️
We had NO intentions on serving customers today. We’re still getting everything ready for our grand opening & waiting on our ice machine. But last night, we received a call from someone who loves loaded teas and usually travels all the way to Belle Chasse to get them!
We explained that we weren’t quite ready yet. She understood & did us a solid by telling her friends & coworkers that Loaded Teas DTR is coming REAL soon! Then this morning, we got a call from a business owner who wanted to place an order. We explained we were ready except the ice… and she said, “That’s okay, we have ice!” 😂
So I said, you know what… why not?! Let’s do it! I agreed to deliver them. The menu was ready, teas were ready, I was all set when, of course, I couldn’t find my keys. 🤦🏻♀️ After finding them, I discovered that my fob battery was dead! My ‘26 is stranded, Lyft finally found a driver and helped me deliver the very first ✨ Loaded Teas DTR order! 😂🎉
Definitely NOT how we expected our first order to go, but honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way! The support and excitement already mean so much to us.
