My wife Emily and I are living our country dreams. Contact us for goat kids or to be put on our waiting list Shaffer Family Farm reserves the right to retain any kids born to our farm. Any kid listed on our page for sale will be available to the first person that puts a deposit on that kid. A nonrefundable deposit (which is half of the full amount) is required to hold your kid until it is weaned.
IF you wish to have your kid with horns/not disbudded and/or wethered, full payment is required up front to hold your kid until it is weaned. All bucks will not be wethered until they are 12 weeks old to lessen the chances of them developing urinary calculi. They will be ready for pick up on the day of the procedure. You will be responsible for pick up of your kid within one week of weaning unless discussed prior to the pickup date or you forfeit your deposit. If your kid falls ill while in our care we will replace your kid if possible. If we can not, your deposit will be refunded in this instance only! All of our kids are Dam raised. Bottle babies (only if rejected by its mother) will not be sold until after they are weaned. All kids that leave our farm will be dewormed and have CDT vaccines. Final payment is to be made on the day of pick up. We are not responsible for the goats health after they leave our farm. We will not take back any kids that have been sold and have left our farm due to them being exposed to unknown diseases. We will not sell one kid to anyone that does not already have other goats as they are herd animals. Thank you,
