A short storm can create so much damage! We were mesmerized by the weather crossing the lake but couldn’t believe the impact when it hit.

If you are wondering why we don’t have a tent right now or why the deck is closed, we wanted to share these before, during, and after pictures with you.

The tent was destroyed, the deck awning damaged beyond repair, and the deck on the house used as our offices will need to be rebuilt. We also lost some outdoor furniture, wine glasses, and letters from our new sign.

The good news is that our initial survey of the vineyard revealed little damage. Most importantly, no one was hurt.

Our tasting room and outdoor bar are clean (sans tent) and open for business regular hours. We would definitely appreciate your visit and hope to see you!

In addition to wine tastings inside and wine by the glass or bottle, cocktails, beer, cider, mocktails, cheese or charcuterie boards, and small bites at our outdoor bar, pick up some food from Kelly's Kitchen until 8:30 PM or sold out and commemorate the day with permanent jewelry from One Free Spirit Design Co.! Beautiful views are complimentary!

Wes and the cellar team bottled the Vidal Blanc 2024 earlier this month!

Vidal Blanc features notes of citrus fruit including lemon, lime, and green apple, and pairs with seafood, salads, and roasted vegetables, especially dishes with a splash of citrus.

Our Vidal Blanc 2024 will hang out in bottles for several weeks to a few months to settle.

Meanwhile, our Vidal Reserve 2023 is sin our tasting room and web site as a wine club exclusive.
