Windsong Farm, located in the beautiful finger lakes region of upstate New York, is home to grass-fed Belted Galloway cattle and Wenslyedale and and other longwool sheep. We graze our animals in the uncrowded pastures of our 175 acre farm during the warm months of the year and then offer them hay and bed them on straw, both of which we harvest here on the farm, during our snowy winters. Our animal
s receive no hormones and no antibiotics in their feed. Heritage breeds are ideal for grass-fed livestock production by virtue of their typically smaller size, hardiness and ease of reproduction. We aim to produce the highest quality of grass-fed and grass-finished beef and lamb. Our dual-purpose sheep are known for their lustrous longwool fleece which is prized by handspinners. We also produce pastured poultry, and fruit jams and jellies. We love our small, diverse, sustainable farm!
