This is the same exact spot I took a picture of last night about 6 o’clock.

I saw a neighborhood posted that we have had about 4 inches of rain so far. I’m calling that a win!

It will continue to rain all day & it’s going to be nasty out here but I’m not complaining. We needed this so bad. 🥰

Last night when I dropped off Lilly, she immediately ran away from the cows, terrified!

She stayed away from them pretty much all night, and I was a little worried for her being out they’re in a new pasture.. But when I got there this morning, she was laying next to the other girls and came up to eat with them.

I got to love and pet on her, but she still was a little weary of the other cows.

She was raised with donkeys so getting dumped into a herd of cows was very new for her.. it will take her some time to get acclimated, but she’ll get there. 💕

Little Man has a new friend.

Meet Little Red

A friend called me and told me she had found a calf whose mama had passed away.

She was asking me how often I feed Little Man, and of course, I jokingly told her to just let me buy the calf so she wouldn’t have to worry about it.

Thankfully, she made the smart decision and let me bring this little girl home!🤣

Meet Little Red, our new little red Angus girl! I’m so excited to have her on the farm, especially because Little Man finally has a little friend.

Twice the dirty bottles, twice the milk replacer, twice the work, but TWICE the love. 🥰

And let me tell you she is fitting in just fine.. They were both screaming at me as soon as I walked out the door this morning.

Brought home this beautiful girl and introduced her to our herd today. I will be keeping a close eye on them.

I’m extremely excited for this one! She was a bottle baby and acts just like Dolly does. Bossy, sassy and wants her food.

Thankful for my wonderful customers that called me and asked if I’d be interested. She’s a great addition to my herd. 🥰

Happy National Farmer’s Day! 🌱

At Harvest, we know that every great meal begins long before it reaches the table. Today, we celebrate the farmers who work tirelessly to grow our food, care for the land, and help nourish our communities.

We are grateful for the hard work, dedication, and passion that go into every harvest. Thank you for the important role you play in bringing fresh food from the land to our tables.

Little man is doing wonderful!

He likes to scream at me in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Basically, all day long because he apparently thinks he’s starving 24/7.

I let him out of his pen during the day so he can run around, eat grass, and lay with the heifers he loves so much. He’s eating hay, grass, grain, AND still getting his bottle.

The way this boy eats, I genuinely don’t understand how he could possibly still be hungry. But he’s growing, he’s happy, and he’s got his little herd of heifers to keep him company. I’d say he’s doing pretty darn good!
