Woo Hoo!!!

AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT OF THE DAY ✨

Every unforgettable story begins with a single page.

Today, we're shining the spotlight on The Mirror by J.S. Burl, an Official Nominee in the Business/Entrepreneurship category of the 2026 Ink & Impact Awards.

The best books don't just tell a story—they invite us to see ourselves differently. They challenge our perspective, spark reflection, and remind us that growth often begins when we're willing to face what we see in the mirror.

At the Ink & Impact Awards, we're proud to celebrate authors who use their words to inspire courage, ignite possibility, and create meaningful impact through storytelling.

If The Mirror has resonated with you—or if you believe this story deserves to reach more readers—now is the time to show your support.

🗳️ Cast your vote today at:

Because every vote does more than recognize an author.

It helps amplify a story that could become someone else's breakthrough.

💬 Let's start a conversation: What's one book that changed the way you see yourself?

Hi folks! I hope to be down in Keene sometime in August with my books! The Mirror, my latest, a romance has been nominated for an award and could use your vote, which you can do every day! Thank you very much for doing this, it really helps. Just look for the Romance category! Love you all❣️

📣 The votes are in... and the leaderboard is LIVE!

Every vote tells a story.

Not just about who is leading, but about the readers, friends, families, and communities who believe these authors deserve to be seen.

Watching the leaderboard change in real time is exciting, but here's what inspires me even more...

Behind every vote is an author who had the courage to write the book in the first place.

Behind every book is a story.

And behind every story is the possibility of changing someone's life.

That's what the Ink & Impact Awards are really celebrating.

Not popularity.

Purpose.

Not perfection.

Courage.

Not just great books.

Stories that leave a lasting impact.

✨ If your favorite nominee is on the leaderboard, now is the perfect time to cheer them on!

Share their nomination.
Invite your community to vote.
Help their story reach even more readers.

Remember... public voting makes up 50% of the final score, so every vote truly matters.

Congratulations to everyone currently leading your categories—and to every nominee who had the courage to share their story with the world.

You're already making an impact.

❤️ Now it's your turn...

📚 Which nominee are you cheering for?

Tag them below and let them know they're not on this journey alone!

🗳️ Vote now at https://inkandimpactawards.com/

Because one vote may seem small...

But one story has always had the power to change everything.

Your Story Has Power.

I wrote another book! A historical/modern novel…

The Mirror

It’s about recognition…

That impossible feeling of looking into someone’s eyes and wondering,

“Why do I feel as though I’ve known you forever?”

Come walk beside Kenna as one mysterious mirror reveals lives long forgotten, ancient promises, and a love that refuses to be bound by time.

How many lifetimes would you cross…
to find the one soul you’ve never stopped loving?

Open The Mirror… and discover the answer.

On Sale now at Amazon:

The Mirror: A sweeping, haunting tale of love that refuses to die
