I love this silly little creature. We haven’t lost a single chick to predators since bebu got bigger than a cat. Before we got bebu, we were losing several chicks a week in our garden to stray cats.

This heat is a killer. We lost a ewe lamb and a good laying hen today. We’ve lost 3 good laying hens in the past 2 weeks...

This heat is a killer. We lost a ewe lamb and a good laying hen today. We’ve lost 3 good laying hens in the past 2 weeks.. I’m seeing post after post of friends losing their livestock to this heat, even with fans, even with water pans, even with lakes and shaded streams to cool off in. Brutal.

ISO homesteads to host outdoor yoga classes!

I am looking for private locations to host farm yoga classes! Ideally a place that is kept mowed, where the grass is clear from manure and where there is minimal or no mosquito/tick populations. Some free range companions are fine as long as they are friendly, and as long as the air is fresh and the ground is pretty clean.

These will be private yoga classes. The address will only be given to those who have signed up for the class. If you own a farmstand or homestead in Grandview, this is a great opportunity to bring people to your business!

Dm me, or text me directly! Amber Hill (682-290-0992) if you would like your land to be considered for sunrise or sunset yoga classes! I am considering choosing multiple, and hosting classes on a rotation, depending on what offers I get!

I am a 200 hour internationally certified yoga instructor and I also have my 85 hour prenatal yoga teaching certification. I completed my 200 hour teaching certification in 2019 at Himalaya Yoga Valley Ireland and I have professionally taught probably at least a thousand yoga classes in the years since.

Filled up my incubator yesterday with Silver Welsummers x Black Copper Marans, 7 different varieties of Olive Eggers and a few Black Copper Marans!

All the eggs that are marked came from the fabulous Two Little Acres Homestead in Cleburne! The three in the top right corner will be Olive Eggers from my own stock

These will all be grown out and added to my breeding stock for my rainbow egger project I am working on! I can’t wait to see what colors we get when they hatch!
