2 years ago today, I took a leap of faith and started my own business. I had never decorated a cake before, seriously at least. I was inspired by other treat makers on tiktok, thinking it looked fun, but also had a lot of self doubt. Thanksgiving 2023 I decided to make strawberries for my family, and shocked myself, with a little bit of patience, I realized this was a realistic idea to put to life! I spent the next two weeks contacting a graphic designer, making an entire business plan and what i wanted to offer, ordered a ton of supplies, and started contacting any friends and family to offer them Christmas treat boxes for any events they had coming up, just to get my name out there! Most of these were at little to no profit just to establish myself, as I have never done this before, even as a hobby, to even post my work. I spent the first half of December 2023 making any and everything I could possibly think of, so I could make it “Facebook official” with my own work! The first (almost) year and a half… was a slow start. I felt all of the love and support from day one, but I never knew how far I would come or if this would be a lasting part of my life. The past 8 months have proven to me to just stick to it and you will see the results! I have been so incredibly blessed to have built such an amazing clientele, and to be able to do what I love, consistently! From what started as a silly tiktok idea, to now be completely booked out until February 2026 makes me so proud of what I have created! Let this be an inspiration that you CAN do whatever you put your mind to, and good things take a lot of time and patience but you WILL get there!

I have big goals for 2026! More giveaways, possibly pop ups, and joining some type of seasonal farmers market has been heavily on my mind!
