And you know I couldn’t leave it at just a hot dog! I had to add my own little touch with the edible Mr. & Mrs. ketchup and mustard cups… which are actually CAKE POPS! ❤️💛

Because why have a traditional groom’s cake when you can have a whole hot dog with condiments?!

✨ A past cake that deserves another look! ✨

This llama will forever be one of those cakes I look back on and think, “Yep… I really made that.”
Did he come out fantastic? YES.
Did he take HOURS? Also yes. 😂
And here’s the part that makes this one extra special to me: this llama was completely handcrafted by my hands.

Back then, we didn’t have all the molds, cutters, silicone tools, and specialty gadgets that make things a little easier today. There was no shortcut for this one. Every single little piece of that piñata was individually cut, shaped, layered, and sculpted with fondant by me.

And honestly? This is what I love most about making cakes.

Taking an idea that you can’t just pick up at a grocery store and turning it into something completely custom with my own two hands.

Years later, I still look at this one and remember just how much work went into it—and that makes it even sweeter.
Because sometimes the cakes that take the longest are the ones you never forget. 💚

✨ A little Sweet Sophie’s glow-up is happening! ✨

We’re officially outgrowing the kitchen! Excited to say we are converting our second dining room into a Sweet Sophie’s storage room + mini storefront! 🧁📦💚

Which means… more space for cake supplies, packaging, all the baking goodies, and a little spot dedicated to making Sweet Sophie’s even sweeter.

Seeing Sweet Sophie’s lit up in our own space makes this all feel a little more real.

Still lots of work to do, but I can’t wait to show you the finished space! 💚

They’re CAKE POPS.

Because no respectable Dino Nuggie should ever be caught without sauce. So these little guys come with THREE dipping sauces:

🍓 Strawberry Sauce = Ketchup
🤍 Marshmallow Sauce = Ranch
🍫 Chocolate Sauce = BBQ

Yes… I really made Ranch out of marshmallow.
And yes… it’s actually delicious. 🤌
