We have babies! A little late because we put our breeding pairs together late last year but they are here now. We have 9 total and we will be putting together a post about them in the coming few weeks. Remember, if you want to be notified of the births please go to https://www.rumenboardfarm.com/contact and submit your contact info. We will send an official notification via email and await responses. First come/first served at that time, until all the babies are sold. We only sell via email contacts so we can e sure to address folks in the order they contacted is. Pricing information will be sent with the initial email.

Also, please forgive us for being out of touch for a couple years. Life took a hold of us and handed us too much to deal with for a while, but all that is better now.

About Us

Our little farm is just shy of two acres on the outskirts of Fort Worth, Texas. With limited space, our flock size is necessarily small compared to others. We have, however, made the most of our property size and have what we consider a very workable layout. We treat our sheep with all the love and affection that we show our pets. We spend time with them, give them much deserved “scratches” when they want it, and generally have a good time. Our “hands-on” approach ensures that we have sheep that are very comfortable with people nearby and it allows us to keep an eye on them for any signs of trouble (health issues, etc). In return, they are giving us babies and LOTS of wool which Amy plans to process and prepare for sale.

We have three breeding rams onsite (Bravo, Delta, and Oliver), and six breeding females (Helda, Rosemary, Violet, Keilah, Stormie and Ariel) at this time. Helda was the first female we purchased, while Violet and Rosemary were purchased from Millerville Farms in McMinnville, TN in 2017. Keilah, Stormie and Ariel were purchased from Backyard Babydoll Southdowns in Byers, Tx as part of a flock dispersal sale in 2019. Oliver and Ariel’s ram lamb (Agdar) won Grand Champion at the Vermilion Parish, LA in January 2020.
