Calling all curious kids! Join us for a barnyard adventure exploring the farm animals here at Russell Farm Art Center. Through guided exploration, students will discover farm critters, their habitats, and what it takes to care for them. It's the perfect chance to unplug, get outside, and fall in love with farm life while learning something new!

🪵✨ Carving up some memories at Russell Farm Art Center!

We had a wonderful time on Saturday, August 15, at our Woodcarving Class: Relief Carving! Participants spent the day learning the fundamentals of relief carving, practicing new techniques, and turning their creativity into something they could take home. It was wonderful to see everyone settle in, learn, experiment, and put their own touch on their projects. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day such a fun and creative experience!

And if Saturday's class has you curious about woodcarving, we've got another opportunity to explore this timeless art form! Join us for the Woodcarvers Showcase on September 12th to watch talented woodcarvers in action, see live demonstrations, browse unique hand-carved items for sale, and learn more about the craft.

🎨 Join us for a relaxed morning of sips, snacks, and sketching! Community Sketch Group meets every Saturday at Russell Farm Art Center. Follow our weekly theme or explore whatever art calls to you. Bring your favorite supplies and treats if you’d like—basic sketch materials, bottomless coffee, and light snacks are provided. Free and open to adults and families. Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Tote Bag Workshop at Russell Farm Art Center! Participants learned how to create their own reversible tote bags while exploring traditional sewing skills that have been passed down through generations.

Through our Heritage Skills Workshop Series, we enjoy bringing history to life through hands-on art experiences, preserving traditional techniques while inspiring creativity in new ways. We loved seeing everyone's unique finished projects and the community that formed around learning something new together.
