When I hired my daughter to help run a butcher shop.

What I accidentally created was the unofficial Mayor of Burly Meats. 🫠

Every five minutes:👋 “Hi friend!”😂 “Wait, tell me what happened next!”🛒 Customer leaves with steaks, chicken, AND a full therapy session.

Meanwhile, I’m in the background wondering if we should start charging by the conversation instead of by the pound.

The worst part? She’s genuinely this nice. She remembers names, asks about your kids, your vacation, your dog, your weekend plans…half of you probably know more about Skyler than you know about your own cousins.

So if you stop in and it takes a little longer than expected, just know she’s not slacking. She’s catching up with her “friends.” And around here, that’s kind of our favorite part of the job. 🖤

The wind is doing wind things today, which in Idaho basically means we're all one strong gust away from becoming a weather event.

So while the tumbleweeds, trampolines, and unsecured lawn furniture are out living their best lives, we're hoping this wind blows in a whole bunch of Yumination nominations. 🖤
