Joey, the hired hand, had her hands full today! It never fails that bottle babies happen and I think sometimes, Joey wishes we had more!

Our sixth set of triplets from a home raised doe who has performed well the last 3 years. We have no worries about her ability of taking them to weaning!

Chilled kids are chilled kids. It doesn’t necessarily matter how cold but the changes in temperature. This kid was born today at 40 degrees with no wind, as the doe finished kidding the wind picked up, and the wind chill hit it.

In comes our redneck warming tub with an elevated scrap wood floor with holes drilled to let the warm air circulate without blowing directly on them. We are thankful for Sarah’s hair dryer!

A home raised doe gave us triplets today! She did a great job with twins last year. Good enough to put last year’s doeling in the keeper pen.

First round of kidding is done out of Rango, and we are hitting the next round. MVH Lineman and SHR Troubadours kids starting off the second group! Very excited about the crosses and the 38 first timers kidding out this year!
